Anyone else like to fidget or draw during digital meetings? I drew this sequence during a class today, It’s fun to find how many different ways you can alter a shape to have a different effect!

This was my first one - A simple mandala in the middle, and the background is a classic rainbow gradient.

Here I smudged out the mandala, extending the radial symmetry across the linear gradient.

And here is a third version, where I flipped the background both horizontally and vertically, inverted the colours on both the mandala and the background and finally switched the background from black to white.

Even before AI, people would ask me how I created so much visual content. This is how! Playing with gradients, inverting colours, rotating things all changes the composition. Combining those techniques creates pieces that feel different enough from each other to be a series.

Creative Prompt: What is something you already create that can be altered in a way that you haven’t explored before?
